Scott Aligo’s football personnel background includes both college programs and NFL scouting departments. Coastal Carolina appointed him its first football general manager in 2025 to oversee roster management, personnel and scouting.

Aligo previously directed scouting at Kansas and held player personnel leadership roles at Michigan State, Akron, Chattanooga and John Carroll. His NFL experience includes personnel work with the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs.
