Dropback tracks Division I college football general managers and personnel staff. The Landscape reflects the roles and school associations in our directory; it is not an exhaustive staff census. Movement coverage begins August 1, 2026.

Career histories and moves link to their supporting sources. We prefer school announcements and official biographies, supplemented by reporting and public professional announcements. Unknown dates remain unknown; an old biography alone does not establish someone’s current role.

Current directory information and authored career histories are maintained separately. Reported moves can be attached to a person’s career timeline, and a departure does not remove their history. Automated research helps identify changes, but sources can be incomplete or outdated.

The tracker’s Last Updated time shows the most recent successful directory read. A bio’s Last Updated reflects the latest edit to its biography or linked movement records. Reads are cached for five minutes and refresh when pages are requested; a timestamp is not a guarantee that every fact was reverified then.
