Dave George’s football administration work draws on a legal background. BYU announced his appointment as football general manager in December 2024.
His responsibilities include roster planning, revenue-share distribution, NIL opportunities, strategic partnerships and fundraising. Before working in football management, George practiced law at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and clerked for Judge Johnnie B. Rawlinson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
