Ayden Opfer’s athletics background spans football operations, recruiting communications and facilities administration. Central Michigan appointed him its first football general manager in December 2024.

Opfer previously worked at Army in football operations, creative communications and capital projects. His earlier career includes creative media work at Temple and recruiting and content responsibilities at Ohio Northern.
